A collection of speakers will share their knowledge of the local landscape - its wildlife, how to get the most out of it and what we can do to protect it.
Talks will be approximately 20-30 mins each, on 'Nature Night' we are joined by Tim Squire, a ranger for South Downs National Park Authority who will share his extensive knowledge of the area surrounding South Hill Barn with a focus on chalk grassland, how it came about, how it has been threatened and how we look after it. Accompanied by his beautiful photography of butterflies.
Claire Sumners AKA Zero Waste Maman will speak about her reason for embracing a zero waste life, and the ups and downs of the journey so far for her and her family. Claire is the Regional Representative for Surfers Against Sewage, and is also the driving force behind the Plastic Free Seaford Campaign.
A representative from the Rampion Windfarm will also be joining us for what will be a varied and fascinating evening.
It is FREE to attend our lectures but please do book as we have limited space up at the barn.
