The Sketch Show

Private View Friday 19th November 7pm - 9pm

Open 10 - 5pm Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November  |  The Crypt Gallery  |  Church Street  |  Seaford

Join the SCIP team as we explore the start of something new through the simple exercise of working in a sketch book with an exhibition of sketches by some of the UK's best loved illustrators

John McNaught | Chris Haughton | Lyndon Hayes | Rob Biddulph | Natsko Seki | Graham Carter | Ben Javens | Helen Musselwhite | Margo McDaid | John Bond | Sally Elford | Ferne Corrigan | Shelly Laslo | Yuk Fun | Kat Flint and many more....

This unique collection, all of which are being exhibited for the first time together, have all been donated to SCIP to auction, and the funds raised will go towards our 2022 projects including a large public arts exhibition in Seaford and the launch of our SCIP Youth programme.

This is a rare opportunity to own an idea, a moment, an experiment by some of the leading names in contemporary illustration while supporting the growth, reach and development of our arts programmes in our community.

Bidding will start in a few weeks, and you will be able to bid from anywhere in the world via links posted here closer to the show date!

We are really excited to be launching our SCIP Youth Programme during the Sketch Show and invite older children and young people aged 11 to 18 resident in Sussex and their parents and guardians to join us for an informal talk about SCIP Youth on Saturday 20th November from 3pm at The Sketch Show.

Our SCIP Youth programme is an opportunity for older children and young people (year 6 - A level) to be part of the design of our projects, workshops and exhibitions, and use their voice to shape the new cultural landscape of our town.
