Sussex Contemporary Illustrators & Printmakers beautiful home is right in the heart of Seaford town, and from here we run and develop our ever changing exhibition programme, run youth groups and offer free art workshops.

In order to continue advancing the arts in the community we hire the gallery section of our HQ to artists and makers for their own exhibitions. This welcoming and contemporary arts space, known as The Crypt Gallery, is very unique as it is built around a medieval undercroft, and this stunning heritage building forms part of the exhibition space.

We provide a full hanging system, plinths, display cabinets, chairs, tables, full PRS licence and much more to those hiring our gallery. We have a shared kitchen space you can use, and bathroom facilities for you and your visitors.

We welcome you to come and view the gallery at any time, however we do recommend you make an appointment with us in advance if you wish to discuss your exhibition with us as the staff are not always on site.

How do I book?

First off check out the hire rates below, if these seem in your price range then email us on crypt@wearescip.co.uk and the gallery co-ordinator Sophie will email you the full terms and conditions, and can advise what dates are available for you!

Please note you will need public liability insurance of your own.

Do you steward the exhibition?

No we are not able to steward your exhibition that would be your responsibility.

Can I have a private view?

Absolutely! We have glasses you can use for no extra charge.
